Paws in the City
Synopsis
Issa is a rising social media manager whose career takes a sudden downturn when a mistake under her supervision inadvertently derails the career of a young starlet, leaving her unemployed in Manhattan. With the need to support herself and her 14-year-old sister, she accepts the first job available—caring for Camila, a high-maintenance dachshund with a diva-like personality. As she takes Camila to playdates and pet psychics, Issa begins to see parallels between the dog’s brash exterior and her owner, Theo, an attractive but reclusive man. What starts as a means of financial survival becomes an opportunity for Issa to demonstrate her talents, mend her family, and potentially find success and love.
