Pearls and Pigs
After their father is arrested for bootlegging, four bumbling brothers take in their young half-sister, whose unexpected talent for singing could win them a life-changing prize on national television.
Synopsis
After their father, a bootlegger, is arrested and imprisoned, four brothers in their twenties find themselves in need of money to settle his debts with local criminals. Soon after, they are unexpectedly given responsibility for their 9-year-old half-sister, who is left at their home by her mother, a prostitute. A karaoke session reveals the girl's impressive singing talent, just as a national children's talent contest is announced, offering a prize large enough to solve their financial problems.
