Synopsis
After surviving Auschwitz, German-Jewish cabaret singer Nelly undergoes facial reconstructive surgery. Unrecognized by her former husband Johnny, she is asked to help him claim his wife’s inheritance. To determine whether he has betrayed her, she agrees, taking on the role of her own doppelgänger.
