Synopsis

Playboy songwriter Brad Allen's string of romantic encounters irritates his neighbor, interior designer Jan Morrow, who shares a telephone party line with him and overhears his casual flirtations. After Jan's attempt to file a complaint against him proves unsuccessful, Brad tries to seduce her by pretending to be a genuine and respectable Texas rancher. However, when their mutual friend Jonathan realizes that his best friend is pursuing the woman he himself is interested in, tensions arise.
