Piplantri is a bilingual Hindi and Malayalam movie shot in Rajasthan with the story of female feticide written and directed by debut Shoji Sebastian. Featuring Miyasree, Rishi, Suresh Velath, Rakesh Babu, Kavya Madhav, Jeena, Joshy Nair, John W Varghese, Shyam Sunder Paliwal in lead roles. The story of 'Pippalandri' is a journey in search of the secrets of female feticide, a social evil. The film was shot entirely in Rajasthan.
