Platonic Sex
Synopsis
Aoi is gang-raped by her classmates and subsequently abandoned by her parents, who kick her out of their home. Feeling she has no reason to continue living, she prepares to commit suicide. Before doing so, she receives an email on her cellphone from a man named Toshi, addressed to a girl named Ai. The message simply thanks the girl for being alive, and this message has a profound effect on Aoi, prompting her to decide to keep living. With few options available, Aoi turns to various means to earn money, including paid dating and pornography, and encounters a number of dubious individuals. Throughout these experiences, she looks to Toshi as her hope for happiness, and the two gradually form a relationship.
