Playing God
Synopsis
Richard Gärtner (Matthias Habich), a 78-year-old former architect, wants to end his life. He intends to do so legally, with the assistance of his family doctor, rather than abroad. Dr. Brandt (Anna Maria Mühe), however, refuses on personal grounds to provide the elderly but otherwise healthy patient with a lethal substance.
