Synopsis
The breakdown of a relationship is depicted through visual and auditory parallels. Schneemann divides and reassembles the lovers' actions in a flowing montage of disorienting variations: 8 mm is transferred to 16 mm, moving images freeze, frames repeat and fade until the film catches fire, destroying its own material.
