Synopsis
Architect Tom Pohlmann leads a life meticulously optimized to the smallest detail. He follows a structured morning sports routine and uses a psychology app to work on his fear of public speaking. In contrast, Sarah Wünsche's life is marked by chaos: she is raising her twelve-year-old son, Paul, on her own, working night shifts, and striving to secure a mini-loan to revive her bankrupt kiosk. For two such different individuals to connect, chance must intervene multiple times. First, a minor hit-and-run accident nearly lands Pohlmann in prison; later, they meet again when Pohlmann is doing community service at the hospital's children's ward, where Sarah's son Paul is being treated for unexplained breathing difficulties.
