Synopsis
New policies introduced by the Lady Mayoress eliminate sex, weight, height, and intelligence as criteria for joining the Police Force. This change leads to a surge in applicants from a wide range of backgrounds, to the frustration of the Academy's instructors. Not all recruits are there by choice. Social misfit Mahoney, for instance, is compelled to enroll as an alternative to serving a jail sentence.
