A radio DJ barricades himself in his booth to broadcast the truth about a mysterious virus that turns ordinary citizens into violent husks, racing against time to warn a terrified town before the infection spreads through every spoken word.

Synopsis
Grant Mazzy, a disc jockey, arrives at his basement radio station in the Canadian town of Pontypool, expecting an ordinary workday. However, upon hearing news of a virus causing people to turn into zombies, he locks himself inside the radio booth. Mazzy attempts to determine how to alert his listeners about the virus and its unusual method of transmission.
