Pretty Boy

"Pretty Boy" is a coming-of-age story centered on Sean, a young teen who is bullied and struggling with his sexuality during high school. On his 18th birthday, his father takes him to a motel and gives him a prostitute named Katie, in an attempt to "fix" what he perceives as questionable homosexual tendencies, after discovering some questionable magazines in Sean's room. The father, a devout Christian, is determined to guide his son toward what he believes is the proper way for a man to behave. Katie, who understands the stigmas of modern society, helps Sean come to terms with the true light within himself.
