Synopsis
Joe Orton, a young and attractive student, meets the older and more introverted Kenneth Halliwell at drama school, and the two form a bond, becoming friends and beginning a romantic relationship. As Orton grows more confident in his sexuality and begins to achieve success as a writer, Halliwell becomes increasingly distant and consumed by jealousy, eventually giving way to a dangerous and volatile anger.
