Synopsis
Sonja has endured several painful experiences and now wants to protect her sixteen-year-old daughter, Nicole, from similar hardships. She believes that men often betray women, a pattern she sees as almost inevitable. Nicole, a shy teenager, has recently captured the affection of her classmate Daniel. Meanwhile, Nicole's father, Sven, is as awkward and immature as her mother finds him to be. He complicates his ex-wife's strong anti-male stance by offering unnecessary and misguided advice about masculinity.
