Synopsis

The film follows a serial killer who is on the loose at the Vans Warped Tour, attempting to kill off the bands one by one. It features appearances from bands such as Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Less Than Jake, The Used, Big D and the Kids Table, Rancid, The Horrorpops, The Suicide Machines, Dropkick Murphys, The Phenomenauts, and many others. Principally filmed during the summer of 2003 on the Vans Warped Tour, it includes live performances from several of the bands. The director also appears in the film as the bandana-wrapped killer. With 110 onscreen deaths, the film held the record for the most individual deaths in a horror film. Four of the five members of Simple Plan are individually killed, making them the only band to receive such treatment. According to the director's commentary, bassist David Desrosiers did not want to be killed. The Phenomenauts' actual tour bus, the "Phenomebomber," was blown up specially for the film.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 17

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
