Puppy Love
Synopsis
When single mother Megan Nolan moves to a new town, she feels guilty for uprooting her ten-year-old daughter, Caitlin. Observing that Caitlin's only friend is a neighbor's dog, Megan decides to adopt a shelter pet to help her daughter adjust. She quickly regrets her choice when Caitlin selects Jake, the biggest and messiest dog in the shelter. Megan's newly furnished home soon falls into disarray, and as she considers returning Jake to the shelter, a handsome baseball player named Ben arrives, claiming Jake is his dog, the result of a mistake when his roommate left a gate open. Megan and Ben clash, with Ben initially intent on reclaiming his dog. However, he changes his mind upon seeing how much Caitlin loves Jake. It becomes clear that Jake, who has won the hearts of everyone, deserves no less than joint custody.
