Synopsis
Aliide endured The Great Terror under Stalin's regime; decades after her hometown residents were deported to Siberia, she lives alone in an isolated house. One night she discovers a young woman, Zara, who has escaped from the Russian mafia that held her as a sex slave. Both survivors, Aliide and Zara examine each other's motives, and their stories gradually merge, revealing the tragedy of a family during the harshest years in Estonian history.
