Qimen Dark Blade
Synopsis
During the peaceful period between the Song and Liao dynasties, Tang Ziyan, an agent originally trained by the secret organization "Phoenix Fire Army," is stationed at the Imperial City Department in Beijing. Hoping to leave her past behind and live a quiet life with her husband, Zhou Qian, Tang is forced back into her former role when Zhou is taken by the Phoenix Fire Army as leverage. The organization assigns her a new mission: to assassinate the visiting envoy of the Northern Dynasty. After Zhou Qian'an is killed by the Phoenix Fire Army, Tang becomes determined to dismantle the organization. Pretending to comply, she continues planning the assassination but is shocked to discover that the target is someone close to her. In the end, Tang Ziyan and the envoy join forces to defeat the Phoenix Fire Army, putting an end to the threat and restoring peace to Beijing.
