Quietus: To the New World
“The survival of mankind before the end of life on the earth”
Synopsis
A post-apocalyptic vision of Earth thousands of years into the future, where all life has vanished and only remnants of human cities remain. Two alien visitors explore the planet, collecting samples and recording data as they study the desolate landscape. They uncover evidence of a catastrophic event—a massive crater the size of Texas—before detecting a faint S.O.S. signal leading them to an underground chamber filled with hundreds of pods. Inside each pod is a human fetus in perfect hibernation, part of a desperate effort by humanity to preserve its species in the event of planetary collapse. The aliens, recognizing the intent behind the chamber, collect the pods and return to their home planet with the hope of re-starting human life.
