Synopsis
Tara, a high school senior, is extremely shy and uncomfortable speaking to others in hallways or being called on in class. However, in the privacy of her bedroom with her iPod, she enjoys performing mock broadcasts for Miami's popular FM radio station, The SLAM, which is owned by her stepfather. When an opportunity arises at the station, Tara unexpectedly gains confidence behind the microphone as "Radio Rebel," surprising everyone by becoming a hit.
