Rainbow War
Synopsis
Three kingdoms, each floating separately in space, are visible to one another but unable to communicate or travel between them. Each kingdom has developed a fanatical obsession with a specific color, reflected in clothing, architecture, and plant life: one is blue, one is red, and one is golden. A forbidden romance between kingdoms and a subsequent war of conquest erupt when a means of travel between the kingdoms is suddenly discovered. This short film was created for Expo 86, the World Fair in Vancouver in 1986.
