Synopsis

A coming-of-age story follows a small-town singer who is devastated by the death of her brother in a car crash. Unbeknownst to her, he had secretly submitted her for a summer session at a performing arts academy in Los Angeles. At the academy, she encounters a completely new way of life in the big city, a stark contrast to the small-town environment she has always known.
