Synopsis

Lisa has accepted the marriage proposal from her Croatian boyfriend, Hrvoje, and is overjoyed. However, the couple faces an unexpected challenge as they prepare for the wedding. Hrvoje's strict Catholic mother, who demands a traditional ceremony, and Lisa's divorced parents, remnants of the former hippie scene, find themselves at odds. Lisa tries to mediate between her quarreling parents, Gerd and Theresa, during the celebrations in Croatia. This proves difficult, especially as Theresa is highly skeptical about her daughter's marriage. Her concerns deepen when she discovers that the groom may be seeing someone else, seemingly confirming her worst fears.
