Synopsis

Remy is a rat with a refined palate who aspires to become a chef rather than a scavenger. After being deposited in the sewers beneath one of Paris’s most famous restaurants, he is positioned to pursue his goal. He forms an alliance with a young kitchen worker and leads a double life in which he creates dishes while remaining hidden. In doing so, Remy must contend with the suspicions of Head Chef Skinner, the disapproval of his own colony, and the presence of food critic Anton Ego, whose reviews influence chefs throughout France.
