Raw Spice

*Raw Spice* is a fly-on-the-wall documentary that chronicles the formation of a girl band in 1994, a group who would later become the biggest-selling girl band in history: the Spice Girls. The film was shot two years before the band's first hit single and captures the five girls living together in a small house in Maidenhead, rehearsing daily in pursuit of success. The documentary features their rehearsals and reveals their distinct personalities, which would later define the group. It includes previously unseen footage of the girls discussing their ambitions and fears, as well as showcasing their trademark bold behavior and moments of intense conflict. The film presents the girls before their blockbuster hits, weddings, children, and later disputes, and before the involvement of stylists, public relations teams, and makeup artists.
