Synopsis

Orhan, who has lived in London for years and has not returned to Turkey, agrees to help Deniz—a famous director—edit his first book. Deniz lives in a mansion with his family, a place that has begun to lose its former brilliance and influence. As Orhan becomes involved in Deniz's life, he finds himself caught in the director's complex relationships, enigmatic friends, and peculiar family members. The film is the first by Ferzan Özpetek to be shot in Turkey after a long time and is based on his own book, which shares the same title as the movie.
