Synopsis
Ross McElwee's latest documentary, 'Remake,' explores his personal journey following the death of his son, Adrian, in 2016. The film interweaves home footage of Adrian with McElwee's reflections on memory, identity, and the role of cinema in processing grief. It also examines failed attempts to adapt his 1985 work 'Sherman’s March' into a fictional format.
