Renaissance Village

Released: 2009Runtime:

Documentary

Actor Wendell Pierce narrates this unblinking documentary about the continuing efforts of a group of Louisiana residents to put their lives back together after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans and the adjacent areas. After living for almost three years in a FEMA trailer park dubbed ""Renaissance Village,"" the group faces the prospect of homelessness again when high levels of formaldehyde in the trailers force authorities to close the park.
