Synopsis
Carole, a young manicurist, suffers from androphobia, a pathological fear of interacting with men. After her sister and roommate, Helen, leaves their London flat to spend a holiday in Italy with her married boyfriend, Carole isolates herself in their apartment. As her condition worsens, she begins to experience disturbing hallucinations, and her fear progressively transforms into madness.
