Synopsis

In a world where Santa Claus is real and seeking to rekindle holiday cheer, two of his elves, Chuck and Debbie, come up with a plan to boost the spirit of Christmas by granting a human on Earth three wishes. The chosen human is Erin, a woman who has grown to despise the holiday season. Despite a blind date arranged by her sister with the kind and likable Sam, Erin remains unmoved by Christmas. When she impulsively wishes that Christmas would "just disappear," she awakens to a world where the holiday has never existed. Distraught by the realization that her wish has stripped others of their joy, Erin teams up with Sam to rebuild the holiday traditions from the ground up. Through this journey, she comes to understand the significance of Christmas and its traditions to those around her—and the growing importance of Sam in her life.
