Restrisiko
Synopsis
Nuclear security expert Katja Wernecke, portrayed by Ulrike Folkerts, assists in covering up a fire at the German nuclear reactor where she works, in an effort to prevent the government from making a decision on extending its operating license. However, the incident is later exposed by the press. PR consultant Steffen Stratmann, played by Matthias Koerbelin, is brought in to manage the company's public image, but before he can begin his campaign, a nuclear meltdown occurs, forcing the evacuation of two million people. Wernecke then re-enters the contaminated area to determine the cause of the disaster.
