Rheingold
Synopsis
Giwar Hajabi emigrated from Iraq to Germany with his family in the mid‑1980s, arriving as a young boy and beginning life at the bottom of society. He becomes involved in petty crime, quickly advancing to become a major dealer until a shipment disappears. To repay debts owed to a cartel, he plans an ambitious gold robbery, which fails, but his interest in music subsequently provides a new opportunity.
