Rhod Gilbert: The Man with the Flaming Battenberg Tattoo
Synopsis
Rhod's stand-up rants on life's minor irritations are well known, but this year, he presents a more mellow version of himself. Having undergone anger management therapy, he is now so relaxed that he even allowed someone to tattoo a Battenberg on him. In this new show, he recounts the humorous and chaotic events leading up to a make-or-break trip to New York with his on-again, off-again girlfriend. The show explores whether the new, more laid-back Rhod will succeed in winning her over and finding happiness, or if he will once again be left with a microwaved baked potato for one. It may also mark a new side of the comedian known as Mr Angry.
