Synopsis
The film is introduced through screen titles as a modern artist's impressions of what occurs in the mind while listening to music. Accompanied by Grieg's "Peer Gynt Suite," the visuals feature common objects and abstract forms captured in soft focus and through prisms. These include rings, pyramids, the staff of musical notes, and floating lights, all presented in multiple images. The imagery is sometimes reminiscent of a kaleidoscope and at other times appears animated, with patterns moving across the screen. The film concludes with sparklers celebrating its end.
