Synopsis
The story of Scottish legend Rob Roy MacGregor is presented in animated form. Rob Roy takes a loan from the local nobility to purchase cattle in an effort to elevate his social standing. When the borrowed money is stolen, he is forced to use the combat skills he has long avoided in order to evade the powerful men who accuse him of theft. Initially fighting for his own and his family's survival, Rob Roy soon finds himself championing the cause of the Scottish people. Themes of heroism, courage, and sacrifice are central to this compelling narrative.
