Synopsis
In the Scottish highlands during the 1700s, Rob Roy attempts to improve the future for his small town by borrowing money from the local nobility to purchase cattle for transport to market. When the borrowed funds are stolen, Rob is compelled to adopt a Robin Hood-like existence to protect his family and his sense of honour.
