Romancing the Jungle
Synopsis
Eva, an aspiring journalist with a reputation for weak nerves, embarks on an unusual journey aboard a container ship in an effort to prove herself. Setting off on a voyage to the Far East, she hopes to use the trip to conduct covert investigations and uncover a major story about ship hijackings and pirates in the South China Sea. Determined to be recognized as a serious journalist, Eva boards the *Liberty* in Bangkok and begins questioning the crew and captain. Unbeknownst to her, the freighter is more significant than she realizes. While at sea, the ship is hijacked, and both the crew and its valuable cargo fall into the hands of a group of armed pirates.
