Synopsis
Bettina Rheims and Serge Bramly's *Rose, c'est Paris* is both a photographic monograph and a feature-length film. The work exists in two distinct yet interlocking and complementary formats, resisting straightforward classification. In this multi-layered project, which combines poetic symbolism with visual and narrative experimentation, photographer Bettina Rheims and writer Serge Bramly present a reimagined vision of Paris. Their portrayal of the city explores themes of surrealism, identity confusion, artistic ambiguity, hidden influence, obsession, fetishism, and intense desire.
