Rounders
A talented New York law student and poker prodigy vows to quit the tables, but when his released‑from‑prison best friend drags him back into high‑stakes games to settle a dangerous debt, he must choose between his future legal career, love, and a shot at winning the World Series of Poker.

Synopsis
Mike McDermott is a skilled poker player and a compulsive gambler who finds himself in financial trouble after losing a high-stakes game to Russian-American gangster Teddy KGB. Vowing to his partner, Jo, that he will quit the game, he is soon drawn back into the world of poker when his best friend, Lester "Worm" Murphy, returns from prison burdened with large debts to dangerous individuals. McDermott agrees to co-guarantee Worm's debts, leaving the two with no choice but to return to the poker table to raise the money they owe.
