Rumic World: Mermaid's Scar
Synopsis
Mermaid Saga is based on an ancient Japanese legend that suggests consuming mermaid flesh may grant immortality, though it more likely results in death or transformation into a cursed being known as a Lost Soul (referred to as Deformed Ones in the English dub). The story follows Yuta, an immortal who has lived for five hundred years, as he travels across Japan in search of a cure, encountering others whose lives have also been ruined by the effects of mermaid flesh.
