Sacred Demijohn

Fikret, a former sailor struggling to adjust to life in Istanbul, begins using the local church's facilities. When the priest, Artin, travels to Vatican, Fikret takes advantage of his absence by selling the church's stock of expensive wines and sleeping in the priest's room. He spends much of his time gambling on horse races and giving lectures to Asim, a young and impressionable boy working at a car wash next to the church, who looks up to him as a father figure. Fikret and Asim learn about Deniz, a wealthy widowed businesswoman who believes her sister, Selen, is cursed and is willing to pay to have the spell removed. Fikret, in an attempt to take advantage of the situation, visits Deniz's home disguised as a priest, only to find himself in over his head.
