Synopsis
Set against the events in Sarajevo in June 1914, a thriller directed by Andreas Prochaska and written by Martin Ambrosch centers on examining magistrate Dr. Leo Pfeffer (Florian Teichtmeister), who investigates the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. As he attempts to carry out his duties amid a climate of lawlessness and violence, as well as intrigue and betrayal, Leo strives to preserve his integrity and protect his love, Marija, and her father, a prominent Serbian merchant. However, the events in Sarajevo have triggered an unstoppable chain of events that will ultimately escalate into the Great War.
