Synopsis

For generations, the legend of the scarecrow has haunted the imaginations of children, lingering as a chilling tale in the dark corners of local folklore. As the Scarecrow Festival approaches, the small town braces itself for the return of its most unsettling myth. School teacher Aaron Harris is assigning detention to six students, tasking them with helping his girlfriend, Amanda, restore her family's struggling farm before it is sold. Surrounded by vast cornfields, the farm is steeped in a local legend that Tyler eagerly recounts with a morbid fascination: "It never sleeps, it never dies, it can't be stopped, hear their cries."
