Scènes de lit

Seven brief scenes, each featuring a couple, examine the unexpected moments and shifts in emotion that can arise during sexual encounters. Only one of the seven couples has previously been together in bed; several are strangers or have just met. The couples include a prostitute and her client, an older woman and a young man who follows her home, two female friends, a gay man with a straight man, a man with specific preferences about soap and water, a woman who insists the light remain on, and a Spanish-speaking woman with a French-speaking man, offering a range of scenarios and unforeseen outcomes. The seven bed scenes are titled: *The Black Hole* (*Le trou noir*); *Mr. Clean* (*Monsieur Propre*); *Madame*; *Heads or Tails* (*Tête bêche*); *The Ideal Man* (*L'homme idéal*); *Love in the Dark* (*L'amour dans le noir*); and *The Virgins* (*Les puceaux*).
