Synopsis
In this complex story involving deception, extortion, and murder, a successful architect discovers that while beautiful strangers may be dangerous, it is friends who prove to be deadly. After the death of his wife, Paul begins to recover from his depression when he meets a new woman named Laura. However, his growing happiness is shattered when his best friend, Evelyn, uncovers Laura's identity as a con-artist. Feeling remorse for her betrayal and seeking to make amends, Laura uncovers Evelyn's violent fixation on Paul. As she faces blackmail and threats from both Evelyn and a dangerous former lover, Laura ultimately reveals the shocking truth: that Paul's wife was actually murdered.
