Schnitzel de Luxe
Synopsis
Gunther and Wolfgang, two unemployed friends, see an opportunity when their favorite Schnitzel shop announces it is closing and decide to take it over. The only obstacle is the need for 10,000 euros in advance payment. Like many unemployed people in Germany, they begin devising outlandish plans and schemes to raise the money. When an old friend of Wolfgang's wife reveals she has come into a significant fortune, they set off on an adventure to quickly secure the funds. However, their carefully laid plans do not go as expected. The story explores themes of friendship, human kindness, ambition, love, trust—and, of course, Schnitzel.
