Synopsis
Scoop is a 1987 television film directed by Gavin Millar and adapted by William Boyd from the 1938 satirical novel of the same name by Evelyn Waugh. It was produced by Sue Birtwistle, with Nick Elliott and Patrick Garland serving as executive producers. The film's original music was composed by Stanley Myers. The story follows a reporter who is mistakenly sent to Ishmaelia, a fictional African state.
