Scrap Wood War
Synopsis
At their annual summer building club, "Camp Scrapwood," best friends Ziggy (12) and Bas (12) find themselves on opposing sides for the first time in their lives. Attending different secondary schools and facing different expectations from their parents, the boys grow apart, especially after both fall for the same girl. Their friendship turns into a rivalry, and they begin to fight. Initially, the tougher Bas fights hard, but he soon begins to doubt the conflict. Meanwhile, the gentle Ziggy gradually becomes more assertive and determined to win. The film is a family drama exploring themes of friendship, love, jealousy, and what it means to be a boy.
