Synopsis
*Seances*, co-created with the National Film Board of Canada, introduces a novel approach to film narrative by dynamically generating sequences in unique configurations, potentially producing hundreds of thousands of new stories through code. Each generated film exists only in the moment, with no option to pause, scrub, or share, offering the audience a single opportunity to view it. The project, co-created by Guy Maddin, explores the impact of loss in film and pays homage to lost silent films from the early days of cinema. *Seances* blends nostalgia with humor, creating a sense of both joy and sadness as many possible narratives are formed but can only be experienced once before they disappear forever.

Why a floor?
