Synopsis
In France, terrorist groups and intelligence agencies engage in a relentless conflict driven by opposing ideologies. Despite their differences, both terrorists and secret agents lead lives marked by secrecy and manipulation, often employing similar tactics. Alex, the head of the counter-terrorism unit at the D.G.S.E. (Direction Générale de la Sécurité Extérieure, the French equivalent of the CIA or MI6), and Al Barad, who leads a terrorist network, are two such figures. Both use human beings as their most ruthless weapon in their ongoing struggle.
